Stellar beaches and a number of fantastic resorts can make anyone fall in love with the place. Visitors can get a taste of rural life with a tour of the Nukubaluva village, along with some local kava drinking.
  • Taveun island: Known as Fiji’s Garden of Eden, more than 80 percent of it is protected within the Bouma National Heritage Park. The park has rare orchids, prehistoric tree ferns, pristine waterfalls and natural waterslides. Tourists must visit the three Tavoro Waterfalls, a 60-foot horsetail of whitewater.
